But if these enter Canada via the USA there will be CAD/USD exchange rate and maybe crazy Tariffs on the price.

Thats where the Conquest lineup has been made for some time. Hopefully they didn't go lower, as in where the Terra-bles are made. If thats the case then they arent deserving of wearing the Zeiss name.

Just read an article explaining Zeiss has bailed on all sport optics and sold off that portion of their business to a private equity group. So China it is. The glass probably Japanese, which is fine. Most of the bigger " quality" brand names are sourcing from there now. Conquest line has been sourced from there for years.
But, now we will see Made in China. Won't be buying any of their new sport optics again now. Sad development but thats the way the world has been going.

Intriguing. I'd get one before production leaves Japan.

Always wanted Zeiss or a Lecia, but recently found out that Lecia was added to the BlackRock portfolio back in 2010 and efff supporting the engineers of our collective social/economic demise.
 
This might be the saddest declaration of all. "For Zeiss, the spin-off of its hunting line of optics insulates the larger company from any reputational damage that could fall out from the use of its products in the blood sports."

I'm going to say its already gone and the only German and Japanese product is already on dealers shelves.
Being honest I preferred their older stuff anyways but the V3 and V4s were good glass as well.

It'll still be a LOT better than the big "V" but the woke lean isn't abideable. MRAD not so much about hunting?

Maybe, maybe not. Time will tell i guess. Would like to see the price in cdn once it lands here. I prefer mils for hunting. Typically pretty easy to get a quick drop in mils for most hunting rifles.
