"Canada First Ammo" - Anybody know what's going on with them?

Hi Folks,

I placed an order for ammunition with this company on July 15/26", & have since read online that they have "gone dark" lately. I have to date received no response from them after numerous follow-up queries. Anyone know how to contact them other than their email address on their site? Their telephone number listed seems to be "Out of Order".

Their "Pickup Address" is apparently:

I would just like to get a refund for my order if they cannot supply the product.

I hope this isn't the case... i have ordered from them many times over the years and always had great service.
 
The report we got (word of mouth so take with a grain of salt) is that someone passed away and they are winding down. Also heard that certain internet service providers are starting to block access to the site likely due to legal action.

Best guess? Potentially the main business operator is no longer with us and someone external (could be the executor) is winding things down. The executor/person shutting it down could have a full time job, kids, their own busy life. Could also have zero experience with running a business. Could be elderly, who knows.

They aren't a scam site but things are not going well there.

As said above, if you used credit card contact your bank and explain the situation. They will help you figure it out.
 
Thank you all very much for your feedback. :) I paid $300 by EMT which was Autodeposited, so I guess I can't do much about the payment if they won't refund it. I have read lots of great feedback about this business in the past. I am still hopeful that someone will contact me about this.

You would think that hey would have closed the e-transfer account if they are out of business.

We did some business with them a few years ago.
Terribly disorganized.
The main owner who was training to be a pilot, is sister was kidnapped and murdered. After that he stepped back, which is understandable..
The other 2 seemed to by more interested in selling drugs. "Dope shop" then running the business.
They were at one point using the same drop ship warehouse that Tactical imports uses.
Then had there own place..
A lot of changes in a short amount of time.
As far as I know they stopped doing business over a year ago.
I know they were trying to sell it, but that's about all I know.
Pretty much when the main owner left it all fell apart.
 
jeff - Have you checked with your bank RE the autodep account the payment went into? My EMTs show the seller's email associated with the deposit, so maybe it's diff from the one on the site?
ericrose - What "2-years" ?
