Original unrestored fazakerley 1946 matching number Jungle Carbine. Questions about check points to look at before bringing it for a complete review to a qualified gunsmith prior to selling. Is there a thread? Is there a very knowledgeable member that can help me along the process?

If its all matching and in good condition why would you need to take it to a gunsmith? Should be good to go.

Qualified gunsmith? Not many of those around when it comes to Lee Enfields.

Matching bolt and good bore - what''s not too like?
Unless it has been really battered badly, it should be fine. They are close to bullet proof.
The headspace may be off, but there's a workaround.
It may have a wandering zero with rapid shooting, but not a big deal.
If it sings to you, and the price is fair, go for it.
