6.5 PRC with H1000 data?

I never did any Berger's with my Tikka CTR...Nosler's and Hornady's only. 143's, 147's and some 129 LRAB's.

FWIW, it may not be of any use to you....all my best loads(groups) with the H-1000, for every weight of bullet I tested was right up against the max load in the manuals ! It was 59.9 and 60.1 grains.

CAVEAT...I worked up to every final load I used, looking for pressure signs along the way. My rifle / results may differ from yours. Use caution and go up slowly. Mostly flattened primers, one session with a sticky bolt lift with Norma brass.
Best of luck with it !

Hodgdon reloading has data for a 153 grain bullet that should be close enough.

Fwiw, I load my 6.5-284 with 52.4 grains of h1000 and 156 bergers. I went up too 55.5 grains and that’s where it started getting concerning for me.

Just have to measure your chamber for cartridge length.

Hi Kevin,
Are you also seeing less velocity when handloading for Tikka 6.5 PRC?
My Tikka shoots the Nosler ABLR 150 grain really well by I can't get anywhere close to the same velocity asvthe reloading manual. I trust the Garmin because it indicates very believable numbers across all other loads & cartridges.
Nosler reloading sees 3030fps with a max load of 57 grns of H1000. With the same barrel length and twist I get 2875fps. Have you noticed similar discrepancies with other 6.5PRC loads?

Mine were all below printed velocities, IIRC some were like 50-70 fps slower..could have been a few fps more or less in some cases. Once I got my new Lapua brass, the numbers were up a bit more too..a little more consistent in my ES

I cant help with any H1000 data, however my 6.5 PRC runs the 156gr EOL at 2930fps with 58.0gr of N565 out of a 24 inch barrel. It averages about a 0.3-0.4 moa group with an 8 twist.

I checked what I have at hand and cant find anything. Did you email Berger? I did it once because their Vol1 load manual didn't have the 200.20X bullet, and they were more than happy to give me all the data they have on it.
