Yes, they have yellow tips. I haven't used the 9.3mm versions on game but the 8mm have worked great, the front end break up but the shank drives deep and through for penetration. They're also known as dual core's. I believe Ted has experience with the 9.3 versions.

Hmmm I have both 8mm and 9.3… but I hate when a bullet fragment in the meat…

Federal Safari Woodleigh Hydro Solid, 9.3x62, 286 Grain, Woodleigh Hydro Solid, 2360 fps​

Only 195US$ per box, mind you I have two boxes I can let for a few pennies less.
 
Was on a 10 day hunt in South Africa in May using the 9.3x62 with factory 250gr TSX ammo, I shot 9 animals with 8 bullets, all shots inside of 300 yards, everything pretty much DRT other than the KUDU which was a 230 yard frontal shot ran about 75 yards and piled up, imho the 9.3x62 is one of the most overlooked cartridges on the planet, performance was amazing.

I was using a Gary Flach built 9.3x62 with a ZG47 action, 22 inch 1-12 twist Benchmark Barrel, hand carved walnut stock, talleys holding a Leupold 2.5-8x36 scope,

thats awesome! congrats! and such a nice rifle, so hard to beat 9.3x26 for effectivness
 
went a diff route on the 9.3 train, got myself a Big horn Amory 460S&W
ive never had a more Inherently accurate shooter other than 9.3 Until I got this 460,
It will eat and print 1" groups and under with irons. (and my eyes are not that good)
200 gr chrono out 2800fps- the 300s i use for hunting are 2350fps.

One inch groups and under with irons is unreal good shooting. At what range?

with younger eyes paul. i destroyed the little orange plate used for skeet but that was few decades ago almost two lol i was able to put three inside at 100m but do not ask that with my almost 60yo eyes lol
