I know but that still doesn't mean that Benelli is 500 years old.Beretta owns Benelli.

Is any other company going ro waste their time with something that means absolutely nothing, as far as the normal use of a shotgun? If there was little to no improvement I'm sure that other shotgun makers and shooters will quickly break this record. We can post the results here.
As neither of us are their target customers, I doubt their R&D departments could give a rats what either of us consider important. Is any other company going ro waste their time with something that means absolutely nothing, as far as the normal use of a shotgun?
Maybe it was 201. It was the target focused life guyI hadn't heard of the 208 meter target shot but Benelli was bragging about a 201 meter shot a while back. A feat for certain but I don't know what the practicality of it is... perhaps that's why they're the only ones that have done it.
So who is their target customer? Who actually cares about hitting a target at 200m plus?As neither of us are their target customers, I doubt their R&D departments could give a rats what either of us consider important.
Perhaps clay shooters 40 years younger than us, no idea; maybe the Target Focused Life viewers. So who is their target customer? Who actually cares about hitting a target at 200m plus?
His name is Steve Gould.Maybe it was 201. It was the target focused life guy
So how many sporting clays fields have 200m plus targets?Perhaps clay shooters 40 years younger than us, no idea; maybe the Target Focused Life viewers.
42.So how many sporting clays fields have 200m plus targets?
Care to name even a few? Lol The record distance for a sanctioned event target is 105 yards, less than half of that distance. The fact is that you will not see a 200m plus target on a normal sporting clays course, and there is no practical hunting application for using birdshot at 200m. The 200m shots mentioned, were nothing more than a stunt, and have zero practical application.
Perhaps Benelli's logic in attempting this was purely bragging rights. Similarly Cadillac is entering Formula 1 racing, which also has no practical usage for road cars, yet they are likely spending billions for some advertising.Care to name even a few? Exactly my point.Perhaps Benelli's logic in attempting this was purely bragging rights. Similarly Cadillac is entering Formula 1 racing, which also has no practical usage for road cars, yet they are likely spending billions for some advertising.
A lot of technology used in modern cars is developed by the racing industry. And I don't think anyone will argue that experientaion to make firearms better is a bad thing but I think Benelli has chosen a contraversial way to advertise it.Perhaps Benelli's logic in attempting this was purely bragging rights. Your welcome to that opinion.A lot of technology used in modern cars is developed by the racing industry. And I don't think anyone will argue that experientaion to make firearms better is a bad thing but I think Benelli has chosen a contraversial way to advertise it.
