7600 O Ring

Wanting to replace my O ring on my Remington 7600
Anyone in the Ottawa , Kingston and surrounding area carry these . I’ve been to numerous spots and can’t seem to match my old one up

From what I gather from a quick Google search, it's a -016 o-ring. Any hydraulic shop should have them in stock. If you have the option on material , chose viton over buna as it will be more durable.

Then buy a couple of sizes that are smaller(in diameter )and start experimenting on which one will work. I'm guessing you'll probably end up going with an o-ring that is around 2 sizes smaller

Two seasons ago I bought some replacement seals for my 1100 from a Hydraulic Shop in Richmond BC they are a large chain too.
Anyways, I do not recall the material, but it was brown in colour and the material swole up due to heat and gun lube.
Caused me agro like you wouldnt believe for the remainder of the season....
There is a guy who sells seals for the 1100's and lists the material of the seals he sells.
My advice is go look him up and take that info with you when you go to a Hydraulic shop to get the replacements.
They are inexpensive...just my .05 worth of opinion.

Have you tried Princess Auto? They have just about every size you could think of. Check the hydraulic section.

I was in that LGS a couple years ago whilst visiting a family reunion. I stood at the counter for 10min while waiting to look at a used SxS I had seen on line while all those on the other side of the counter ignored me. I walked out w/o spending a dime.
