It might be worth trying to pick up a "parts gun" at an auction although it's been getting hard lately to find one for the right price. (ie. sub $100). The so-called Canadian Cadet carbines should be a great source of good condition parts but even those can go to $500 or above, even though they have little collector value. If your carbine is a genuine one then it will have a proper carbine small-sized rear sight which will be particularly hard to source. There is a UK company (Peter Dyson) that sells a few repro Snider parts (firing pins, hinge pin retaining screw, etc) but at silly prices.

ah yes, unfortunately the gentleman has all but run out only a few screws and small items left. But always a good idea to watch both site for new posts.

If you have a genuine Cavalry Carbine rather than a cut down rifle you will have a hard time finding parts for the sights these were different from the rifles. The breech block parts were the same as long as you find the right Mark they will interchange.
