How did you find the height of the cheek rest vs your scope? I'm presently hunting for an optic and debating what height rings/mount to get.EDIT 4:

Just heading home from the range, I don't have any accuracy to report but 80 shots of 5.56 with p mags, cross mags, lar/duramags, mct, and (fake? Came with the gun) p mags all ran 100% flawlessly.
The gun had absolutely 0 hiccups, other than one handguard screw backing out half way but that's fixed with Loctite, the muzzle brake got loose too so I just took it off.
My barrel was not bent thankfully, all I did was run a few dry patches down the pipe (from the muzzle end) before shooting, and wiped some of the excess packing grease off. It's a lot of fun and reminded me of the Chimera.
The bolt holds open after the mags empty, hitting the bolt release paddle worked every time and the last thing I did was rapid fire 20 rounds and it ran without issue. The barrel was skin scalding hot after that. However before that, I kept feeling it between mags and it held up pretty good, never got burn-hot.
The trigger has a pretty consistent 6.5lbs pull weight (as per my analog Lyman gauge). Handguard screws were approx 35 inch pounds from the factory. I never took anything else apart yet. Uhhh what else... Idk we'll see how she holds up.
EDIT: Forgot to mention the sketchy looking welds on the recoil arms. I'll update later with a picture but it's bad enough to question its durability over time. Remember it cycles like a semi auto shot gun, forgetting wtf that system is called idk I'm not a pro guys.
EDIT 2: Not sure if it's supposed to include one, but mine never came with a thread protector. I don't have anything to test the thread pitch unfortunately... will need to find a cheap thread protector somewhere. That kinda pissed me off, pretty annoying.
EDIT 3: Mostly shot PMC X-TAC 5.56 NATO 62gr and Magtech 5.56 NATO 62gr FMJ, didn't try anything else yet. No accuracy to report, that will come in the future if I care to share more about it later. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase so far as a casual plinker.
EDIT 3.5: I only tried the MLOK slots on the bottom but the handguard is indeed too thick for normal screws/nuts. I couldn't attach my BCM vert grip

I set the cheek riser to the highest height, absolutely no problems with my 1.5" centerline height mount (standard "AR" height for flattop rails). It's a one-piece Vortex Sport 30mm Cantilever, the newer generation model. It's comfy to shoot and has all the right clearances, my scope has a 44mm objective lens.
Maybe its a extra long range 223 hahaha but until we got replacement its the worst rifle money can by, since they prohib AR's everyone is ready to spend money on new design and I can see its not a good idea

Go one page back on this thread, I updated my comment/mini review. I guess that's what Turkish QC looks like because I had a good experience with mine, sorry to everyone with bent barrels and other problems.

Hopefully in the next couple of weeks there will be more info out there. Probably will end up pulling the trigger eventually to test it out myself if not!
Trying not to beat this topic to death, but no one locally in BC has stock for me to look at.
Based on this manual, it looks like the barrel is retained by a ring below the barrel, like a 12ga (which tracks based on the copy of the action). Perhaps with the higher chamber pressures and not your typical barrel-threaded-to-receiver setup, it can be more prone to de-tightening. Saw a Reddit thread where some dude couldn’t figure out how to torque it
. If anyone is so kind, can you confirm
-That the gun comes with the barrel nut wrench as stated?
-I assume it’s nothing special though, just some stamped 20-30mm wrench?
-do the threads appear to be a nominal metric size where someone could source a nyloc as a replacement? Or are they acme etc
-photos showing the nut with the hand guard off would be much appreciated.
I imagine there’s a 95% chance that proper loctite application and torque would resolve any concerns raised by internet commentators.

There is an M4-style angled tube that goes into the stock (like the Backland Hunter) , but is there an actual part of the BCG traveling inside that tube? Or is it all contained forward (like the Adkas Alcor)?
There is only the TAC version for manly sporting purpose but would be nice to see the the WTU and the ST versions for a more hunting look and use. I sure would buy the one of the mentioned variant.
The one i have is trash, and now she is on her way to warranty center. The barrel is always loose under 20 rounds 223 fired, the hand guard is always loose too during the firing. I have tightened the barrel nut several times on different ranges trips and totals under 100 rounds fired. The bolt charging handle is broken on the last trip…….
