What is your ‘best looking’ ammo?

When it comes to reloading.. I can't stand the nickel cases.. They don't anneal like brass.. Maybe cool as factory rounds go..
I love the short fat magnums.. Not sure why.. but they just do.. Then couple it with a Hammer Hunter Tipped projectile... Oh ya... Cheers

I wanted to score some noveske black nickel plated cartridges to reload with silver tips or glow tips.

I use paint pens on my 5.56 for green tips and other fun colours.

Aesthetically something about the proportions of 7.62x39 Russian does it for me.

The best looking stuff I had was when I bought a pile of that 8x63 ammo on the 250 round cloth belts from Marstar years back
All that belted ammo was pure bliss :)
I’ll give the Winchester silver tips the runner up

Altaros slugs for airguns are very pretty. Unusually for airgun ammo, they're individually cut on tiny little lathes.

This .375H&H Winchester nickel-case 300gr solid load has been sitting on my shelf since my African hunt...which was in 2009! I still pick it up and heft it occasionally while looking at the pics and trophies on the wall. :) I continue to use the .375H&H regularly, but this is the last remaining piece of this particular loading I have, and I can't foresee getting any more.

Absolutely my coolest, best-looking piece of ammo.:love:
