I feel like with a little extra engineering they could just make a spare cylinder for 9x19mm and make it hold more than just 5 rounds lol and avoid moonclips entirely; 9x19mm cases are slightly tapered and don't entirely need moonclips for support in the chambers of a revolvers cylinder
The moon clips are still needed for extraction, the extractor star wont grab a rimless round because the rim isnt wider than the case. You'll need to poke each case out with a stick. That's why 9mm revolvers almost always either use moon clips, or are gate loading with fixed cylinders.
And yes, there are exceptions like the Medusa revolver that use a spring loaded tab to catch a rimless extractor groove, my break action 30-06 uses such a extractor mechanism, and i'm terrified of breaking it it's so fragile and flimsy

Not sure about the 357. It's a higher price point and higher pressure, less versatility over .45LC/.410. 9mm not possible on TR platform as Sulun has patent on the moonclips and quantities wouldn't be high enough to justify development of clipless cylinders unfortunately

TR-45 Micro now. Same look but rifled barrel and capable of .45LC, but can still shoot .410 (lead) if you want
I understand 9mm not being feasible with the moonclip patent issue, but i think there would be a lot of interest in a 357/38 version, more so than a 410/45lc Micro. 38 Special is far cheaper and more available than 45lc, and with the Canuck Evolve already on the market it should be a simple matter of requesting a batch from the manufacturer with a Micro length barrel?
can you elaborate on the patent part , since 9mm moon clips were patented over 100 years ago (patent US1231106A ).

Nope, common misconception.
If it arrives below 26 inches OAL either from the factory or by parts swapping (no cutting), isn't a semiauto with a barrel less than 18.5 inches, isn't a Handgun, and doesn't have a stock that folds or telescopes (fixed stock), then it remains NR despite being below 26".
As the TR410 Micro left the factory with that length, isn't a semi auto, isn't a Handgun, and doesnt have the telescoping stock from the larger model (stock is fixed), it's non-restricted with a length of 23".
This is basically a 45 colt revolver that is 23" long. .410 shells will be very inaccurate out of it's rifled barrel.
.45 colt ammunition price and availability will be a Big factor in my decision (and it doesn't look promising). I don't reload, so it's an issue for me. .45 colt would be the oddball caliber in my collection. 9mm, .38/.357 are cheaper & readily available - plus I already have a stockpile to use.

Turkish patent, so basically Sulun is the only one who can make moonclips there. We explored the idea of them sharing ie TR-45 using SR-45 moonclips, since we carry both platforms anyways) but nether party was interested
We won't have enough time to get a sample in time for the show unfortunately. We'll have the TR-410 Micro, which will look the same aesthetically other then the markings however
Yes but for some reason the manufacturer also charges a lot more for .357. So it would be 1299 instead of 999. Can't imagine many clients choosing to pay extra for the same platform essentially. If they bring the price down then we could look to bring in
