Its certainly slow down the bolt, but in any case its shouldnt induce jam and it dosent explain all the other one. In semi it will do the same. When I went to range I mostly used target load, so every jam in semi I attributed to lack of velocity, but I did had these ftf happen quite a bit . Today when I tested my bolt release I had a couple of the same jam happen I was curious too see if it was cause by the brand. So I tried my federal shells, wich were 3 inch, and realize that this gun just cannot cycle them. Its been now more than 4 days and I still havent heard back from TI.
 
Still trying to diagnose those failure to feed. So I have a question for you fellow spass owner. If you rack your slide really slow, does another round pop out the mag or you need to rack it hard?
 
Tried mine out, start with 25 x 2 3/4 buck. Pleasantly cycled all in semi auto no issues. Even hip shooting. moved to target load, will not cycle as suspected. tried some 3" high brass. That's when things started going bad. double feeds and empty chamber not drawing from tube every once and a while but getting worse. Near the end could not get any to draw from the tube. The problem is the bolt release lever is sticking or binding. its not grease as i just cleaned it. I'm going to pull it apart see why its not moving freely.

Try polishing the shell latch.

Its seem that the root cause of all our feeding issue and stiff bolt release is that bolt release/shell latch combo assembly. It all point to the same part.

If you have a hard bolt release its that part coming at an angle binding on the reciever. If you rack the gun and no shell come out of the tube, its the latch bidding on catridge. If the shells are partially coming out, its the latch rubbing because its not fully clearing the way, wich also cause timming issue and how the shell present itselft on the feeding ramp causing failure to feed.

All these issues are related to the same part.

The likely culprit. Either that or the machining for it on the reciever is out of spec.

Its weird i was reading about those issues you reported here, the release button is still smooth. its something about how it articulates. button moves no problem but thing internally is not moving around correctly. The slide also does not hold open. Ill pull it apart and see whats going on. make sure to steak and glue the internal pins

The slide not holding the boltnopen is a new one. There a spring pusing that latch up naturally and its should grab a notch on the feeding ramp. Check if you have a bur on the feeding ramp notch

I know that when its not catching and holding the bolt open, the bolt release / shell holder lever is not fully moved out. and if i press the button a couple times the bolt release fully moves out and the bolt will now catch. I assumed that the issues is the bolt release lever not wanting to move out on its own.

But basicly, like me your issue seem related to that god damn bolt release. Could be something else in your case since its smooth.

I just tried. I racked it as slow as I could and another round fed from the magazine - tried it multiple times with the same result.
