Brand New to Canada: SG-12 "SPAS"

You're really making things more complex than they need to are in your explanation, there is no "5.9" anywhere in the law.

It can't hold 6. That's it.

Of the the length of shell it is chambered for in the case of shotguns.

If you feel the need to comment and want to get into semantics, sure, "under 6"... but mathematically, 5.9̄ (5.9999 to infinity) is equal to 6.

So it cannot be 5.9̄, or 6. It can however be 5.9. 5.9 is not 6.

How's that for simplification?

It must hold under 6 rounds. Happy?

You don’t need to be able to look into the future to know that the turkish copy of the infamously unreliable Italian shotgun is going to have problems. That being said im buying one LOL rule of cool got me this time
Not all Turkish makes are problematic if just hung in the back of the safe or wall😂

Just unboxed it and got the Turkish gunsmith special

I don’t blame TI, I’m going to see if I can get a discount. Not really acceptable for a brand new gun.

If it affects function I think I’ll request a new one, it’s a failure point
Yeah I would too, mine and every other one I’ve laid my eyes on has never been close to that bad. I’m just surprised that passed QC

Does the pin come out? I could punch it out and see how bad that hole is

Looks like they used a torch to get the pin to fit
Taken mine apart a couple times now, and everything looks clean. Pin isn't too tight but also doesn't come out on its own. Ill send some pictures once im able of the hole.

Mine is a pretty low serial #, so it’s not even like they were making them out of spare parts. Bad QC in Turkey

Despite my problem, it’s a good clone and good value for the normal ones

The buttons are very stiff, the entire thing needs a breaking in

Overall been happy with mine, only issues i had were the muzzle comes loose so I added some Lock-Tight to fix that. The magazine tube also seems to come loose with time and shooting. But none of the other issues the people in above had so im thankful for that. ~250 shots in and shes had no failures to feed or fire (semi and pump) shooting Score 12 Ga 2-3/4" 00 Buck Shot 1oz

I've yet to shoot mine yet, but just beat the hell out of all the buttons. My bolt release, stock release, etc were insanely stiff out of the box, but have loosened up as I've played with it. Running snap caps very smooth as well finally; hopefully that translates to live ammo.

How's your shoulder feel the next day?

I made the mistake of doing ~200 rounds one day, then tried more the next, I think I gave up after about 20. It's not terrible recoil, but man it's not giving you any padding either.

Next thing I need to address is my feeding issue. Mine just wont work with 3 inches shell and I have many feeding jam with 2 3/4. I think the feeding ramp lack some oomph. Im kind of getting tired this point. Red one are the 3 inch.

There is no "feed ramp" on this shotgun, & the lifter seems weak or does not lift the shell high enough to clear the non feed ramp barrel.

My shoulder was super sore the next day, but nothing too bad. Haven't shot 12 Gauge in years so that didn't help with shooting that much in that short of a time span.

Agreed, you can't just throw a shell in the yap and have the action get it into the chamber, I had to place shells directly into the chamber then close the action to get that extra round.

However, no tube feeding issues or double feeds so far at all.
