Anyone do any Sandhill Crane hunting this season?

Jon, south of North Bay and hwy 17 I thought the new Ontario season was limited to only a couple of WMU's. 47 and 48? And then a person could only hunt in agricultural areas, not hunting wetlands. Cranes nest on my property in 48 and I enjoy seeing them and listening to them so much through the spring and summer that I decided not to pursue hunting them. I guess if I grew grain then I might have a different viewpoint.
It's been a while since I checked the website but Ontario was sectioned into 4 areas and in those areas, only certain wmu's were allowed a hunt, I can't recall them all offhand, I would have been in 43a and you were only allowed to hunt farmland and I believe the season was only 12 days, maybe less. The only reason I even knew about the season was my cousin sent me this screenshot. They've just started showing up at my cottage area the past 4ish years and the one's I've seen have zero fear. Every morning I walk down to an inland lake with a grass field and they've came within 10' of me without a care, having said that, if more seasons open up, that will likely change. I like them too, so I won't be hunting them just yet either.
Do they do a lot of crop damage down your way? I haven't seen it in my hunting area as of yet, so I'm just curious.

How many crops do you go look at? I left that area 14 years ago and used to be named on 3 farmers agricultural permits to kill them on their property. They would absolutely flatten huge areas of their crops and they were nowhere the number then as now. My buddies in the Iroquois Falls area have them staging there in September by the thousands. I can only imagine the damage to any unharvested oat and barley fields they descend on.
