Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol Tactical Shotgun Review

I have a 20 gauge model on order from IRG. It should be here soonish. I wanted and would have paid for a 1301T in 20 but this will do. It was effectively the same as sale price for a Canadian 1301 Mod2 12g.

Also from my research the Ultimate Patrol does not come with the Kick Off System
It does seem you can purchase the Beretta Kick Off System Xtrema 11 as an accessory
Is this correct ?

I got my A300 UP in 12 gauge.

Dressed it up, it shoots very smooth and fast enough for competitive. In few matches I joined, many shooters were using 1301s and I never felt being outgunned.

TBH, I do not see huge gap between 1301 and A300 UP. The only thing I would like in 1301 is that gun has more options in buttstock.

I got mine cheap at Italian Sporting Goods about 12% discount about 4-5 months ago ( noticed you are from Lower Mainland )

A300 UP is kinda unpopular as you could get 1301 MOD 2 with around $300 more in Canada

I don't think you can beat it currently. Your comment brought a smile to my face just thinking about the amount and speed of lead deliverance the 1301 throws.

Yes, the standard Beretta Kick-Off recoil reduction system is compatible with the synthetic stock versions of the A300 Ultima Patrol and 1301 Mod 2 (non-pistol grip models

What are your thoughts on 12 Gauge vs 20 Gauge

shotgun is lighter in 20 gauge, easier to maneuver, and has less recoil
I also find it easier to clean with the same rounds fired
however, 12 ga has more versatility and options in ammo if cost is an issue
I can do more customizations with 12ga shotguns
it all depends on what you are looking for, and what the purpose of the shotgun is
