Their 215 does not look anything like the one pictered however, the C.I.L. bullets are cannelured and staked for core retention.CIL used to load 215 grain .303 Br.
No, his brother in law. Mike from Camrose.Mike from Canmore?
Hi, I have a P14 enfield that was of course a 303 br, that I found a new old stock barrel for at a gun show, and had a gunsmith rechamber it to take 300 win mag brass, so I guess you would call it a 303/300 win mag. It still has the 25-1/4" barrel, and I moly coat the bullets. This is a superb rifle for still hunting, lots of range and lots of power, however, it is a bit of a pain to carry in the bush with the long barrel and it is a bit heavy. It was deadly accurate with a few other bullets, and I am sure it will be with these. I shot 200 gr bullets, old speer grand slams, at 2975 fps. Which I can testify is sufficient for a 4 point mule deer.2925fps with a 215? What cartridge?
I still have a bunch of those .311 180 gr kksp. I loaded up some for a buddies son, and he shot a moose with them, he was over the moon.Their 215 does not look anything like the one pictered however, the C.I.L. bullets are cannelured and staked for core retention.
The one on the left is a C.I.L. 215 KKSP , next to a Saber Tip and a CPE.
