Weatherby Orion SxS?

Anybody own one in a 12 ga? Looking for opinions as a possible new shotgun. I like that it has screw chokes. Just don’t know if I want to spend $1400 on a Turkish gun in case it’s junk

Yildiz is one of the better Turkish makers. That said the Orion is a bit bulky and squared off thru the wrist. Id try shouldering one if possible

I have the Orion 20g in o/u ,I had looked for the SXS but none were around now I see them pretty much everywhere,however mine has worked flawlessly for the past two years with over a thousand rounds through it.Some have been heavy 3" as well as I use it for early duck season still performs so the build quality I believe is there even if its not a SXS .My only ##### is the barrel /safety selector is a poor design as it has locked up while trying to get the safety to disengage ,me or the gun ? but something you would not have to worry about with dual triggers.

Quality good condition pre-war 16ga sxs’s are relatively plentiful and much better than anything made today. The price of a new Turkish sxs buys a nice prewar. Unless you want things like screw in chokes of course. Just a thought. .
