New Leshnik SKS chassis by Neumann Metalworks (Canada)

I had a Tapco 'system' with 6x mags, for about 10 years. It was Very Convenient to swap mags and handled Very Well, BUT it was still an SKS - 4-5 MOA on a good day ! When price of ammo got crazy, that system went walkin' ! I prefer to hit stuff, Not 'close'.

when it comes to the sks ...... the term, you can't put lipstick on a pig, absolutely applies
I think the only non standard stocks i liked on an sks that improved handling and shootability was the mc-5d monte carlo version.
everything else is just a gimmick to get shooters to part with thier money LOL

I want to like it but it doesn't look good the more you look at it. ....

Upper handguard appears to be cracking.

Lower handguard appears to be cracking along the mlok slot also due to how thin the wood is up front it will crack and break easily.

Lower handguard mlok slots if used removes the ability to fold a bayonet.

Lower handguards sharp squared profile looks like ass and doesn't match the curve of the upper handguard or the rifles overall curves.

The "custom" AK ribbed grip looks like uncomfortable garbage compared to a standard wooden or polymer grip.

The metal screws clamping the chassis together with a 3d printed block insert really pisses me off and tells me they did this to save time and money instead of boxing in the rear of the chassis and providing a shim kit to ensure proper fitment amongst different SKS variants.

A boxed steel rear end would be far stronger and would provide an extremely solid mounting point for the 1913 rail section to affix stocks to instead of being attached to an unknown grade 3d printed block with screws through it that will likely create stress fracture points depending how the stock if bumped or dropped.

The chassis is steel sheet design so what I have suggested can be easily done with just a few minor welds.

There are no pictures of the chassis internals to view so we can only guess what that looks like let alone how the AK side rail been affixed to the sheet metal to ensure rigidity.

Its not the route I wouldve gone offering something like this... but I have to give props to Newman for making something cheap and keeping the price in check to reflect that.

If I made wood AK furniture for the SKS Id be asking 375 for just the unfinished wood set ! Let along a whole finished chassis Lol
