Best case trimmer

Is that guy hammered or wtaf!!??
Totally but he finishes with " keep your stick on the ice" cheers
Side note... I got kicked out of Howie Meeker hockey school when I ran over another player.. Not to hurt him but well just not the same size.. Howie got all hostile.. and I told him he needed to play fair.... I was 11 years old.. I still remember the smile on my dads face as I stood my ground.. The kid was rich and privileged and simply turtled.. No intent to harm.. he took a soccer dive... But the keep your stick on the ice thing has always been there.... Cheers

I've had a Forster for 45 yrs now, it's done a good job. I like that you can add 3way trimmer heads to it, or neck reamers, or neck turning tools, if you ever progress to that. I would expect you can probably add all but neck turn to the RCBS Trimpro 2, I have one here, don't like the universal jaw on it, I have to push and pull hard to get cases out of it, and it scratches the case heads pretty heavily in the process. There isn't any adjustment on that. Also have a Hornady trim/case prep ctr, the trimmer on it is a POS, will not stay set, I tried for 3 yrs to make it work, gave up, use the case prep side of it still, for primer pockets. Also have a 21st Century setup I built over 6 yrs or so, 3 way trim, neck turn, ream, expensive, but, a good setup.
Were I to start over, with my first gun, I'd likely try Giraud 3 way, drill driven trimmer first, or another drill driven Forster, with the long bed. An RCBS or Hornady version of the Henderson would be nice, but, can't really justify it at the prices they want. Can buy a few Giraud drill driven ones for the cost of the newer styles, or a Forster longbed with a few 3way cutters.
The one thing I'd insist on, is the 3 way cutter heads, did without them for about 30 yrs, would not make that mistake again, they are worth every penny.
You could also use a case prep ctr like the RCBS or Lyman with Lee adaptors for Lee cutters, or the FA version without the trimmer. That setup works, have friends that use it, I have the cheapie FA prep ctr, too works fine, just a different process, still very quick that way. I didn't use a case prep ctr for 30 yrs or so, bought the Hornady to also be able to do the .410 cal on it, didn't work out. Then I tried a 3way head on the Forster and got converted. Bought them for the 21st Century. It cuts prep time waaaaay down, makes it far less of a chore to do case prep.
Kinda depends on your OCD level, how many calibers you have, what you want for cartridges down the road, and what they are in calibres, as to what will suit you best. If you only have a couple now, go with the drill driven Giraud, add as req'd. IE; I have .22cal, 6.5mm, 7mm, 30 cal, in 3 way cutters, with those I do 218Bee, 223Rem, 6.5CM, 7mm-08 and 7RM, 300H&H and 30R Blaser, or I can any other cartridge in those 4 calibres. I've had .338 and .410 as well, didn't buy 3ways for them though.

I hear exactly what your saying about the universal jaw on the trim pro 2. but I mount mine firmly to my bench.. then drift the case neck forward while keeping the case relaxed in the holder.. It lines up perfectly and establishes it's own center before I let off pressure on the clamping lever while rotating the pilot and cutting head, and that makes the case alignment perfect before starting to cut. Honestly flawless function... for me...
Cheers
