Norma Subsonic HP

I asked in the non match ammo thread if anyone had tried this ammo . I bought a 100 rounds the last trip to nordic marksman. So yesterday after noon I got to shoot 20 rounds at 50yds before it got to dark. I know 20 rounds is a pretty small sample .however it did show some promise of being a decent grouping ammo. The first group " T1" on the right followed some cci standard velocity . Not sure what went on with group t2 . maybe the first 5 norma striped the cci lube from the bore . Group t4 I was more than happy with .my next range trip will see what the other 80 rounds group like . If it will shoot .6" or smaller on consistent bases I will be buying a brick .

If switching between ammo I always shoot 25 foulers of the new ammo before I put it to the test, can get some pretty funky results otherwise, especially going from a heavily lubed round to a waxed round

I shot some Norma Tac-22 Sub RNL last month @ 25Yds. It did well considering 1) 12x scope and 2) after 20 rounds of SK-RM that's quite oily lubed and 3) shot off a bipod. It was with my Marlin 795 - Target #8 - 10-shots = 0.788" The "S-66" is a 1930 Stevens 66 with Iron sights; did pretty well once I 'found' the hold @ ca 2" Hi-Rt.
