Would you consider bringing in Norinco 97 bullpups? (Part Deux)

At a $800ish ticket price, would you buy a 97A bullpup?

Nothing on mine, and no indications (resets in the metal, etc) of their intention to be there.

Here's the night sight on the QBZ-95:

So I guess that this crappy night sight was removed from production-at least for our 97A..........

No signs of those illumination points on the rear or front sights.
On the rear sight there are 3 apertures and a "post" that you can rotate through. Also, instead of the number engraved and painted on the side facing the shooter as in your pic above, the number is just engraved and it's on the top (read while looking straight down on the top of the gun, it's on the aperture's top).
A similarity in the sights is the hole (looks like it's for a pin) that is seen in your pic slightly below the 300m aperture is also below the 300m on the Type 97A.

They actually look pretty useless and clutter up the sight picture.

It looks like the Type 97 uses an AR type front post in which case we could use a decent tritium front sight post anyway.

Some Chinese fans took these pics, not 97 but 88 sniper:

see the white dot?

OK then I will ask potential importers...

Can we please have night sights?

Unless the Chinese know how to make Tritium Capsules(which I believe, as for now, are still in development), we probably have to modify from the parts which are intended for other firearms or even have to scratch built.........

I read somewhere that in some of the Chinese firearms that are debuted recently, are have voids on the iron sights that are intended for the Tritium Capsules........

Man I am in love with the 88 sniper.

Am I right that Lever had one in 5.56mm but sold it for big bucks?

It must have an FRT then right?

No the M16 does not generally come with night sights. I meant AK not AR type post; but aftermarket tritium capsule sights are available for either and quite cheap too.

I have seen one in Edmonton, but the dealer wanted $2300.00 for it. It had a factory scope, but I went for the Hbar AR.

That about sums it up, as long as people can buy an AR for the same price the chinese guns just won't sell.
