Please help.

When looking at load data in the Lyman 48th manual It just states a 200 grain round nose. Can I assume that this would be valid for all makes of 200 grain round nose bullets in that bullet diameter using that selected powder? Just want to make sure as i am new at reloading.

No, not all projectiles of the same type are created equal, you will find that the ogive's are in different places and the bearing surfaces are of different lengths.

ALWAYS work the proposed loads up for your own particular rifle.....but if you do not feel attached to your eyes you may feel free to disregard my council.

Just remember that MANY different calibres use the same size bullet. You're in a whole heap of trouble if you reload a 200 gr bullet into a 30-30 with the same powder charge, as a 300wm, or vice versa. Even though they're the same bullet, and you could use the same powder, you need to be sure you're using the proper calibre the data is for.
