Aimpoints hard to find?

Okay, whats the deal with this.

Im looking for an Aimpoint ML3 (4moa dot), and it seems that NOBODY has them in :confused:


TSE said they have some coming, Wolverine has none in (eta 4-6 weeks), and the 3 places on Aimpoint's "where to buy/distributors" area dont have any in either.

After asking around pretty much nobody has the ML2's in (TSE said they dont even carry them anymore - as did Wolverine)


So what gives? Are they really just not in demand, or are they SO HIGH in demand that they sell out real quick?

I'd like to get a new one also, not really looking for used.... i dont have access to the EE either so i cant check on there.
 
Hmm, Target seems to only list the M4 and the Micro H1 and T1's in stock.


Mabey its time to get onto the EE tho, I have a pretty much brand new Docter Optics sight that i didn't end up using (although my buddy has first dibs on it)

I emailed them just to check anyways (they state that they dont list all products)

and also requested to join the EE.

Forgo the website. Call in and ask them if they have one. I was unpacking some boxes a while back and I remember a ML3 4MOA.

ETA. Why do you need the 4MOA? Just get the 2MOA and turn up the brightness if you want/need a bigger dot.

Large moa dots are a waste except for shotguns. Small ones are good for precision and they bloom big when you turn em up. You cant get a big moa dot smaller

yeppers, its going on a shotgun :D

I dont need the accuracy as much as i'd like the more visible dot.


If it were a rifle i would be looking at an Aimpoint M4 instead ;)

I just called Target Sports Centre, and have a brand new Aimpoint ML3 (4moa dot) coming to me! :D :D :D

Aimpoint just changed their North American distribution system. This has caused lots of headaches for importers, and long delays for customers. Apparently things are now sorted out, but I have yet to get a real ETA on new inventory.

and thanks for the update Redleg. I was wondering why they were so scarce, i guess if they're reworking the distribution networks thats a good enough excuse ;)
