WC-735 good powder for 22-250?

Would like to pick up some from Higginson if it's any good for 22-250 with 50-55grn Bullets

Since it is similar in speed (5% faster) to H335 I figure it should do alright. Anyone have any first hand experience with this combo of powder/cartridge?

For bulk varminting, why not. It is certainly faster then ideal - burn rate more like H322. You might be able to find some load data for this powder to compare - not to be mistaken as proper load data.

Most manuals suggest H380/Varget/similar and H4895 on the fast side.

If it is anything like H335, it can burn well even with low load density. Pity you need to buy a bunch to try but it is well priced. consider a magnum primer to make sure it ignites consistently. Ball powders usually have more deterent then extruded ones.

For quite a while, Higginson had a H380 derivative. This worked really well in my 22/250. Maybe they have something similar in low volume that they don't advertise?
