Desert Tactical Arms SRS

:agree: As a semi it would have been perfect with that level of accuracy.

To get a semi auto to deliver that kind of accuracy would drive the cost of that rifle up how much? try 5 times .

Jerry I have shot the DSR1 the rifle that SRS copied it has a rear mono pod and an extend-able rear stock which increases the LOP which the SRS doesn't for obvious reasons $$$$$$ which negates the operator from losing cheek weld when operating the bolt.

Is the SRS the Cadillac of bullpup rifles hardly not, More like the Ford Focus of the bunch= Affordable .

Now I have no idea what a Chinese bullpup sniper rifle would cost but I can't see them shooting too badly nor costing that much. Certainly not to this level but is this level needed for real operators????

Like the Russians proved all those years ago, 1 to 2 MOA is more then enough for govt. work. Curious why they never made a bullpup dragunov type rifle????

It is a very nice looking rifle but could be done for way less money. A bullpup stock for any standard bolt action rifle wouldn't cost that much, making the overall cost of the project less money.

Essentially, a bullpup tube gun...goofy bolt cycling and all.
Jerry

PS sorry for the dumb question, but is making a bullpup stock illegal if the overal sizing is kept within 'specs'?

Les Baer Semi autos guarantee .5 moa. They cost less than this rifle. So I don't agree with you on that. 6.5 Grendel anyone?
It looks like fun. But... for $3500 there are other toys I'd get first.
Even the DPMS LR-308 has been known to get around .5 moa with handloads. At less than half the price of this other rifle.

Jerry
I am just basing the Price on Walther 2000 Semi auto rifle in 1976 it was arround $2500.00 mark given how things have gone up at least 5 times that amount.
Jerry Bull pup coversion stocks are prohibited regardless of barrel length or overal length
