Pine Ridge Riflescopes

Anybody know anything about the Pine Ridge brand riflescopes now being sold by SIR / Cabelas? They have a pretty reasonably priced SF 6 - 18 rimfire that might be suitable for the 17 HMR.

Was just looking at the side focus models myself and wondering the same. The catalogue has no mention of warranty. Any idea on that? Checked Cabella's site, no mention of warranty either. Hmmmm.

I just checked over at rimfire central and the posts on them are that they are crap.

I was also thinking on them with the price so attractive but changed my mind after doing research on the US sites.One guy bought one for his 17 and loved it.Bought 8 more to stock his guns and all were crap and went back.Another guy said cheap scope for a cheap price.It all depends on what you want to use them for I guess

I just got mine about a week ago, so far my impressions are positive. The scope feels solid and the dials have a very positive click and feel. Only negative is the elevation dial only has the compensation distances and no MOA indicator. I'll hope to get to the range this weekend and I'll post up a review.

I've read the feedback aswell and for the most part the review from the people is positive. The only negative I gather for a few people that it is hard to sight-in and zero.

Cabelas is well known for their excellent warranties...regardless of product. I expect these scopes to be the same. If one breaks...just send it back for a refund or a new one.

I'm taking it for granted that since they are being offered in the Cabelas/SIR Canadian catalogue.....that they are now being sold out of Winnipeg. Cabelas purchased SIR last year as a step toward bringing their stores into Canada.
