hi cap glock mags??

does anyone know if 25-30 rnd glock mags are sold capped at 10? if so where are they avaible?

Anything over 10 rounds sends you to jail unfortunately (well... 0-10 years for a first offence, 1-10 years for a second offence, 2 years less a day to 10 years for a third or subsequent offence). And not just buying or "owning" either, but merely being in "possession" of (knowledge of + a measure of control over). (Offence is created by s. 92(2) of the Code; "prohibited device" defined in s. 84; types of prohibited "cartridge magazines" set out in the Regulations under the Code... specifically Part 4, s. 3(b) ... "Any cartridge magazine that is capable of containing more than 10 cartridges of the type for which the magazine was originally designed and that is designed or manufactured for use in a semi-automatic handgun that is commonly available in Canada." If it is not "commonly available in Canada" (whatever that means) the limit goes down to 5 rounds.

Look for "Scherer Extended Mags..." here, 100% legal pinned mags:

They are available, and they are capped at 10. Extended Glock mags pinned/capped at 10 rounds are NOT illegal.

See Questar.ca, they sell Scherer extended Glock mags.

You may have been joking but I'm not.

Pretty darn expensive for a show piece.

How does the "pinning" of the magazine permanetly disable the magazine from holding more than 10 rounds? Couldn't you just remove the said "pin" and put the guts of a 33rd or whatnot in there? Just makes no sense, why not just use the 10rounders?

Because shooting with a pinned 33 round mag out of a subcompact Glock 26 with an extended ported barrel is too cool not to do.

Haha, awesome. How are these mags 'pinned', anyone know?

When I received my 17 round mag it came disassembled and didn't have a "pin" in it. What I did was drill out the hole in the 14th just a bit larger and installed a pop rivet. The 33rd mag came already pinned in the same way except for a bit of black epoxy added. I had to file off a bit of the epoxy to make sure the mag fell free, otherwise it would stick a bit. Same with the 17rd mag that I did myself. I just used a file to shave a tiny bit off at a time until it fell free.
