My Find of the day ! French 1892 ammo. (Pics)

I was at the gun show today in Perth Ontario, and found something quite hard to find.

An original box of 25 rounds for 8mm French 1892 military ( Lebel) revolver with its original rounds in it. Not cheap ! but I could NOT resist.

As you can see it is the same box as shown in the French book '' Le 1892 Revolver de la Revanche'' ( Lower left)

I am NOT sure about that one ! Have sold my last 1892 revolver last week, but there is another one in minty condition on its way from U.S.

I will try really hard to locate some Fiocchi first. At the price I paid for these, I would like ( more than possible ) to keep this box intact (If I can resist).
 
I sure wouldn't shoot them. There's a good chance they won't go bang anyways. Next to an unopened box, an opened full box draws the highest price.

Can't you make up ammo out of brass such as the 32-20?

I wish I could, But I am not equipped to reload, and have NO Knowledge in reloading. would need equipment, and a good mentor.

Hi Bill Unfortunately I sold them this afternoon, and have just seen your request. I will contact the buyer to see if he as a caliper to measure it.
