Hi, my name is Billy, and I finally saved up enough money to buy a norinco KILLER twelve. I brought a box of slug shots, a box of trainning stuff, and a box of buck 1 shots(I think)

It isn't easy for me to save up for a firearm, because I only work three days a week for a company that don't pick on me for being mentally challenged, I'm kind of mentally challenged in some ways(was in special olympic, but I'm lazy so I haven't been swimming)

Would be great if there's a mentor out there, who has the patient to teach me to hunt, like my head coach teaches me to swim(which is difficult :D) This is no joke, I'm a little slow at learning so I hope you understand, and thank you very much.

Sent me a pm please.

kind of bragging about being a lazy guy wont help you much here..all camps need wood cut/water hauled/scouting/cooking/dishes/blah /blah /blah/im to to lazy to add more here..
pull your weight and im sure you will get some invites;)

lol I'm just being silly. If someone tell me to do something like getting firewood I'll go get it, if someone tell me to start the fire I would do it, and by the way it's rather better to just buy the water...

I was thinking of finding a mentor around the Vancouver area, who can go on an one day hunting trip with me, somewhere in the North Vancouver area for deers.

By the way I'm really not lazy, for the christ sake I work for UPS as a package handler(I unload the trucks) I think that already proves the limit of my integrity, however this is the problem. Like I mentioned already I'm a mentally challenged man, problems I might encounter during a hunt trip might be getting lost, scaring the games away. forgetting where's my shotgun(biggest worry)

If I can learn the method of hunting, I can save some money on buying dinner from time to time :)

I would suggest you join a local gun club where you can practice target shooting and handling firearms before you go hunting. You might hook up with a few hunters there too.

Ok tomorrow I'll join the nearest gun club, that's decent. I guess I should practice a bit before I go hunting, even If use a shotgun with buck shot. I understand...

but to be honest, I'm straving I need to harvest some vension soon. hehe just joking

Everyone is mentally challenged to some degree.....don't let it stand in your way.

If you lose your rifle, paint it orange. I do that with my axe because I lose it regularly in the bush.....

Spend time with guys at the shooting club and listen rather than talk. That will help you out a lot.

And lift boxes with your legs bent.

Good Luck Billy

too late, I been lifting with my back for awhile now, and I'm addicted to the pain. That's how it is like being a truck unloader(better name would be package handler)

Now I know why slaves in ancient rome, wanted to be slave because it's fun honestly, it's actually quite fun to lift the inrregs(inrregulars 70-150 lbs stuff) it's like driving a very fast car, you'll never know when your back will eventually break, or the dusty environment kills you. Every work day is a gamble.

Well, try using your legs more, or you will get a sore back and we will have to call you "Old Man Billy".......:D

Your're not challenged...shoot straight and practice...deliver or sort packages till you're blue in the face...but shoot straight...easy... breath out and squeeze...the fast part will never let you down...only the people that say they are better than you can fall short...shoot loose and clean...

X2.
And take a hunters safety course. Most guys will feel more comfortable knowing you can tell the difference between one critter or the other. Safety first is your top priority. If you do find someone close to you, leave your gun at home. I'm sure they would let you use theirs for awhile, that's how I bring new comers in. Two guys with one gun is safer as the experianced hunter has more control of what your doing and how your doing it. And maybe start on small game. Go bird hunting, or maybe even rabbit hunting. Just dip your feet in slow at first.

Well here it's law - can't hunt ANYTHING without having passed the course.

PM sent billy - i'd be happy to meet with you and discuss what your next steps are.
