Hi, so does anyone know WHY taurus discontinued the Taurus in .500 S&W?

Does anyone in Canada, still SELL the Taurus .500 Raging Bull?

Taurus makes a LOT of products! I doubt there is another gun company that makes as many different guns as they do...But I think if a gun doesn't make enough profits they discontinue it. And since .500S&W isn't really that popular I'm guessing that's what happened.

If I was looking for one I'd call the distributor- FN sports/R Nichols (they have a 1-800 number on their website) I doubt they have it but it's probably your only chance. Another option is finding one in US and importing it or just get a .454or .44mag model.

Between it's introduction at the February 2003 Shot Show and July 2005 Smith & Wesson had shipped 45,000 model 500 revolvers, I guess there is a demand for quality guns.

Yes, for quite a while there was a waiting list for the .500 Smiths, at $1500 a pop,it surprises me. A gunshop I know of sold 6 in one month, when they first came out.
