Adjustable sights...a necessity?

as long as your gun shoots to point of aim why bother with adjustables unless your changing your loads around alot, once you have picked one load to shoot your sights don;t need to be touched.

Is there any advantage by having adjustable sights in IPSC?
+1 What Westicle said re: changing loads - also...

Generally factory fixed sights (there are some exceptions - heinie, sevigny...) are crappy target sights and getting a proper, quick sight picture on a 15 yard plate is near impossible. Adjustable sights as a rule are target sights and offer a much better picture.

I don't reload my own ammo, so I'm at the mercy of whatever load I get from reloaders... So I need adjustable to change for when their loads change... That's the only reason why you would NEED sights... You might want to get some because, as said above, they tend to be nicer quality (on average - there are some nice fixes sights too).
