what about the remington .223 pump rifle.. doesn't that take ar-15 mags? what mag can you use in Canada.. a 5 or a 10 or a 20... probably a 5.

The Indian Ishapore 2A1 rifle, yet another Lee variant (but in 7.62x51mm) generally comes equipped with a 12 rd mag.

here we go again, the 10 round exemption for the enfield mags was because one of the twits that wrote the regulations, 5 rounds only for semi's, must have been told that there were semi auto enfields (mostly trials) that used the standard 10 round mag. So in order not to make all enfield mags prohibited devices, because they hold 10 rounds and were designed for and could be use in a semi auto enfield (if you actually had one)
This would actually only apply to No1 mags as no No4 semi auto enfields were trialed or produced.
Confused yet.
Now here is the fun part, yes they made 20rd 'trench mags' for the enfields in WW1.
And I suspose that technically using a 20rd mag in a semiauto enfield would be illegal, but then again you are using a mag that was not specifically designed for the rifle in which it is being used.
But first you have to find the 20rd mag, and then find a semi auto enfield. out side of a musume I don't think that there are many left floating around.

Even if you found a 20 round Lee-Enfield magazine it's not exempt from the regulations. If you read the regs: #3. (1) (ii) it states for Lee-Enfield "containing not more than 10 cartridges of the type " etc...... That means that the Lee-Enfield mag is actually the only bolt rifle CF mag (that I'm aware of) with a limit!!!! And don't blame me, I didn't write the regs, but I actually read them when in doubt.
