Slightly O.T. and slightly used...

Just found a binfull of these surplus nightvision goggles waterproof cases.
They are approx. 16x16x8 1/2" and in very good shape once you get all the labels, masking tape and bits of scribbled over gaffer tape off them.
Bought three and I think I should have bought 10 more; they are as good as the average Pelican case with a big plus: they cost $19.99 apiece!
Will make nifty waterproof cases for some of my photo gear on canoe trips and a real good transport case for my pistols.
Now, if I could find some good neoprene closed cell foam... anyone around for this?

In Beloeil, Quebec, at a place named Prefair/Imrico. It's a huge depot of about anything milsurp, just behind the new LeBaron store (formerly Sail but now they've imported LeBaron's good business behavior and ruined it for us, shooters, as usual)
I think I'm going to pay Prefair another visit very soon because they might have some ammo alongside and last time I went there I saw what appeared like wooden transport cases for Enfields... I'll take some pics of them if they allow me.

Yes Sail had a buch of C-No.7 transport boxes, unfortunately they spent the last ten years in the rain so not much left of them except a bunch rusted hardware.
