cz858 sight adjustment

Just picked up a cz 858 rifle and I am completely clueless about the front sight. It's off to the left and held by nitro paint, should it be centered? if so how do i do this.

Shoot it first, it might me zeroed.

it should come zeroed. when u bought it it shoulda had a target with it. havent had to touch mine and it seems a little outa center.

Regardless of whether it came zeroed or not, it won't be zeroed for you.

To adjust the front site, you turn the post one way or another to adjust for elevation. To adjust windage, you move that dowel that the site post is screwed into from side to side This is done with a brass punch, or better yet, an AK47 site adjustment tool.

My front sight was off as well. No target came with the rifle either.

The front sight should be off like that... It isn't wrong, if you mess with it, you'll have to re-zero it in. Mine was the same way and mine came with the target. I have no issues with hitting what i want.

You mean to tell me you guys don't sight your rifles in? You just use it zeroed from the factory?

SKS sight tool works fine with the CZ.

dont need too, i can hit a 2" round orange sticker at 100 no problem with my cz, and thats all i require it to do.

My VZ58 was off to the left as well.
