if you dont like the idea of being able to switch out barrels in miutes, having a very impresive selection of calibers/guages to chose from and hate the idea of a single shot that is built to last then NO dont buy one![]()
I just bought the Pro Hunter from SIR in .308 WIN.

how the heck did you pull that off, those twits told us they wouldnt have any until july or august
Todbartell got me mine after some frantic searching![]()
oh they were polite but didnt have ANY in stock last month, good to see a few are finally filtering into canada again.
now to just get down south and get a couple barrels I want and im a happy camper
e aurthor brown has barrels in the new 6.5x47 lapua and 6.5x284 as well as my 204 ruger and 500 S&W 20" and an accuracy hinge pin system
I just bought the Pro Hunter from SIR in .308 WIN. I have yet to shoot it but so far I'm very impressed with the fit and finish. I can only hope it shoots as good as it looks. Once my new Nikon scope and Warne scope mount gets here (the rifle didn't come with a mount) I'll be able to take her out to the range.....But I do have a question for all of you that own this rifle in centerfire calibers....What kind of accuracy are you getting at the range and what can I expect from this rifle? Most of the information out there is either to one extreme (accurate) or the other (not-accurate).......So what is your first hand experience with these? What should I expect?
There's no reason that with a little tinkering that you shouldn't be shooting sub MOA.
