Thought I would start a thread to have people show off their main .22LR handgun.
Show off only the one that you use the most to hone your trigger and grip skills for pistol shooting. So basically the one that you use all the time..

Feel free to post ammo counts as well, problems or achievments ;)

I don't have one yet, and I have a great idea on one, but as usual I'm taking my sweet time deciding so I get something that I'm really going to like.

Post away

thanks

OK, I'll play :D

My very first pistol... MCM Margolin... now sporting target grips.

God only knows how many 1000's of rounds thru it... and still my most reliable 22lr pistol (this side of the single shot)
At some point in time I really should make a barrel weight or it.

The image is of Guy Fawkes who in 1605 was involved in "The Great Gunplowder Plot", which was an attempt to place 1,800 lbs of gunpowder under the House of Lords in London England. He was in charge of the plot because of his experience as a soldier and in the use of explosives. Today he is the patron saint of the Bomb Disposal Technician. The grips were done by Wicked Grips, cost $225.00(US) and took 9 months for delivery.

My 1978 Ruger Mk.1 6 7/8" Target model, A-100 frame, bought on CGN EE. A great pistol to shoot, and very accurate. I'm not sure what make the wooden grips are, but they're extremely comfortable and fit the hand nicely. Even if I bought a newer .22 LR pistol, I would not want to let this one go.
