Well ladies and gentlemen, this is my 30th post! According to most of you, this means I may finally lose my newbie status. I was expecting some sort of fireworks or marching band to appear with this glorious 30th entry! I don't feel any different entering the elite "regular" status as are most of my gun peers on this site.
Question: What if being a regular isn't all it's made out to be? What if all the hype was just to get us newbies to keep making meaningless entries for the pleasure of getting razzed by you relics? Is there any chance of having our newbie status re-instated if were not overwhelmed with this honor?
Either way, I'll give it a chance, and hopefully this graduation won't go to my head in thinking that I have an answer for everything. Anyways it's time to celebrate now. Think I'll open a bottle of bubbly, and contemplate on my 31st entry.
Thanks for all the previous replies to the newbie post. You guys were hillarious and down to earth with the humour. Glad to be a member, and look forward to my next 30 posts.
Rick

You need to get a life! :) if a number of posts means so much to you....well, I need not remind you how pathetic and insecure that sounds do I?

Congrats on your 30...sheesh....

I'm a few times higher then you in post count, but relatively new to the forums. can anyone advise me as to when I will be allowed to include attachments in my messages, for image uploads, thumbnails and the like?

PS - on a PC forum I frequent, where I've been a member for over 5 years, my post count is nigh onto 30K now I think...

who gives a crap about post counts???

i would much rather a single good post rather than a whole load of crap. Dont post whore!!!

Your missing the whole point. This is a joke intended for members who participated in a previous post with over 62 threads. Don't take the post thing seriously!

Something in the water in St Andrew's ;)

Just playing around...

Are you a member of the Cornwall Handgun Club? (Just North of St Andrews on the 138)

ahhh, okay, so it's a thumbnail tag only type dealie. I get that then. just thought perhaps the images were actually uploaded, being it shows that there's an 'upload' feature that's disabled for my account. I assumed (always gets you, doesn't it) that it had to do with becoming an active member. a lot of other forums let you upload things once you have a certain post count.

thanks!
