What belongs here? Basically anything post-war used in Warsaw Pact/Chinese Communist world, and weapons based on those designs.

For example the SKS, VZ58/CZ858, AK47 and variants, including Valmet derivatives, SVDs.......you get the idea.

What doesn't belong here? SVTs and Mosin Nagants. Those are best discussed in Milsurps.

Enjoy!

How about other soviet military gear ,knives and handguns?
Here is a Stechin photo courtesy of Adam's guns to whet your appetite.

I love Soviet gear ,it is exotic yet rugged and utilitarian at the same time.

Why not call it the Red rifle section instead...
There will be the black and the red section.

Just try to figure out what will fall in the black and the red sections. Guess it will be more convenient that way.

Just my taught

Current problem is the "Cold War", which ended 20 years ago.

I was also referring to any country and their satellite that are in the comblock.
Just found there is so many differences and sometime, not at all with the black rifle
ie: Type 97 and the SKS

The question is basically were some firearms will fall. Let's take the example of the AK, the VEPR from RobArm and any other AK made by an old satellite of the USSR but is now a free country.

I believe this should be more easy to put these it in the Red section as the time it was built or the original copy was created, the country was in the comblock.

Anyway, this was just an opinion and in fact, we have more thing to do such as read the Girls with guns post :D
