There are at least "7" 9mm AR's for sale on the EE!!

Its a trend. You'll see different trends all the time on the EE. For a while it was Swiss Arms rifles, then AR's. Now its 9mm sub cal AR's.

Does this mean that everyone who has a piercing will soon have a 9mm AR? Oh man, I dunno if I can stand to see all the emos armed.

I think pepole are selling it because they paid way too much for those colt 9mm - awhile ago they are going at 2600+ a piece for no apparent reason. At some point, the bubble has to burst. There were some 10.5" 9mm with the "kool" lower that are sold at 2400 - but for some reasons people start jacking the price of their beat up 16" sporters as well. At some point people figure out there is a difference and hence the market collapses. There is no reason to pay over 2000 bucks for a sporter with a A1 carrying handle. A 9mm is a simple blowback, with a bit of attention, even RRA could get it right. And 9mm barrels will last forever- even a none-chromelined is ok if the price is right.

I really don't like RRA for their .223 offerings but I think they got the 9mm right.

I used one of their uppers for my 9mm build. With optic, buis, rail, Hahn Block, stripped lower, I still came under what the $$$ people want in the EE for Colt stuff.
