I wasn't sure if this belonged here, or in the blackpowder and antiques forum, but oh well.

I was just curious if anyone knew if beretta sold a stampede with a bird's head grip other than the marshall, which is too short to own in Canada.

Uberti makes a Cattleman Bird Head with a 4 3/4" BBL.

Beretta and Uberti are both part of the same company. Except for minor tweeks, I thought the Stampede was the same gun as the Uberti Cattleman.

I would not buy either, I had a pair of Uberti 1873 Cattleman in 45 Colt that I used for Cowboy Action competitions that I had constant problems with.

Will never own another one I would start checking or emailing Ruger to see if they would make a New Vaquero with a Birdhead grip.

It's those differences that I like about the Stampede. it's got a wider trigger, and the sights are slightly different. I don't like the blade style trigger on the cattleman
