Hi Everybody
I live in Hamilton and want to get the best bang out of my hunting license. (Every pun intended)
My hunting buddy however is a farmer, so it's planting season right now. So other than his farm, I have no idea where I can hunt.
Any know any good spots in southern Ontario when I can hunt and not get cops called on me / won't shoot anyone?

Thanks

I lived in Sarnia for 26 years. If it is deer your after, head on down there. With all the corn and soya bean fields, there are deer EVERY WHERE. And the best tasting deer in Canada I might add as they are corn fed. Only deer ill eat.

Grand Bend area, Reeces Corners and surrounding areas come to mind.

Also excellent goose hunting down there as well.

Good luck

For me it would be idea if it's within 100km or so.
I know that might be a bit picky considering that it's mostly suburbia but niagara region seems to be less dense in population.

I live in Niagara and am ALSO looking for a spot. If anyone knows of some I'm looking for the same thing!

A chap at Wolf's Den mentioned Minnising Swamp west of Barrie as a good place. The lady from the conservation office said no problem hunting there as long as you buy an additional ontario swamp land hunting license for $70.00 per year...

Provincial laws, county laws, licenses, tags, controlled deer draws, Simcoe County OFAH membership, Swamp licenses, mnr/conservation/county offices, it's a wonder the P.S.T. isn't 99% to keep this bureaucracy boat going.
