Which of these 4?

Greetings Ladies and Gents. I need some advice on a scope for an O/U 9.3x74R rifle with 30mm rings.

Its a small rifle, a Heym26B, and I'd like to put a lower power good scope on it.
Anybody have experience( or advice) with these scopes?
(BTW- I got a real deal on the rifle. I can spend a little more on the scope)

Leupold 1.5-5x24 (Euro 30 series) $400-500
Zeiss Classic Diavari 1.1-4x24
Swarovski 1.25-4x24
Schmidt & Bender 1.25-4x20 all about $1000-$1500

Appreciate the advice. I've got a Zeiss Conquest on my other rifle (Lovely!), but these are upper scale from that, I think. Are they worth double the price of the Leupold?

Have used Leupold 1.5 - 5 with German Post reticle for last 11 years, no problems to report. Others are very high quality scopes, if you can afford go for it

I have used top end Leupolds & Bushnells/Bausch & Lombs.....................I bought a S&B PM-II last year and it was the best investment in optics I have made..............pricey, but worth it.

Seems to me that your list is not complete without considering Kahles- pricey but no more than Swarovski or S&B. I've got an old fixed 4X made in 1962 and the optics are still clear and beautiful.

Don't forget NF NXS 1-4X24. I think it's the only true "1" power variable and is very reliable.

Have 3 1.5x5 leupolds going on 20 years, no problems. Have a look at the IR model, worth considering IMO.
