Made me laugh when he gave what sounded like his battle cry on the M4 go around. Me thinks they new it was going to happen considering they swapped the swimming mask out for a medevil welders helmet that served as the design for robocop.

While watching the video I noticed that there was a stream of water shooting out the back of the stock through the return spring tube, could there have been a large hole drilled for this purpose, if so this would have relieved a lot of the pressure? It's obvious that the M4 didn't have this modification, interesting test either way.

No, all carbine buffer tubes have a hole at the end of the tube, be it the 416 or the M4.

I wondered about that stream as well. It seamed to be too much to have been squeezed out of the frogskin, and too much to have been comming out of the buttstock.

Because making anything a retro fit for something that wasn't designed to use it will never be reliable.

You want a piston rifle that will be reliabel, you better build it from the ground up.
