Cost me 20 bucks to buy this mount. Use a cheap low ring to mount a Surefire light, which use 1 inch tube body.

Worth every peny I put in.

It's a three position mount:

Looks pretty good.

Not a lot of room for your grip..how does it feel when shooting?
For a right hander, mounted on the right side of the gun and maybe with the flashlight adjusted forward a bit would give your hand max clearance.

Which model of surefire is that?

Just camera angle, there is lots of space for hand. Of course, the flashlight can be mount forward.

Friend gave the Surefire to me, don't know the model.

That would be a G2 and judging by the yellow ish light in the first picture, I would say its not the LED model.

Michaelsabre, hope you don't mind if I add another cheap rail option for the grizz or any other 870 :)

I had an extra hogue forend so I ordered a nylon rail from brownells and fired up the dremel :D

$10 bucks for the rail and there's enough materials for a couple of mounts.

Just need to get a mount and light....
I'm thinking a mount from these guys,

and I'd like a small led flashlight that uses one double A like my Fenix L1D
I don't think the L1D is rated for gun use..
