T/C Arms R-55 Magazines & Scope Bases

Where would the best place be to buy some 5 and 10 round magazines and bases for an R-55 Sporter?

I would take a look at Wholesale Sports, perhaps? SIR Mailorder might help and then there's Russell Sporting Goods.

edit - doh, I meant to ask about this rifle. I haven't heard of it until today...how does it shoot? how does it compare against the Ruger 10/22 and the Remington 597?

edit 2 - I just looked up this rifle on the T/C website. it has suggestions for Weaver bases. I've heard Weaver rings are horrible, but their bases are fine. take a look here and see what it says: http://www.tcarms.com/firearms/rimfireR55Sporter.php

I just picked up the rifle on the weekend, but haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

I will post again in a couple of weeks after I have run it some rounds through it.

Also, I have never shot a 597 or Ruger 10/22 so I really can't compare.

I look forward to your review as well as I've been curious about these guns as well. If you look on SIR's website (www.sirmailorder.com), they are one of the few places that I've seen the R-55's in Canada. Have fun with your new toy
