shortening a shotgun barrel

An estimated cost, what would it cost to cut down a Mossberg 28" barrel and re-threading it again for choke tubes ?

$150? Cutting/recrwning is around $30 - $40. IIRC Dlask charges $100 for choke threading (including 1 choke as I recall). I don't know who who does choke threading in Ontario

To cut he said the cost was minimal, $160 to retread plus $30 a choke, I'm thinking because I have 2 28" barrels I'm just going to cut it down myself and shoot it as an open bore. If I find I don't like the pattern then I'll spend the money
