1911 style, single stack recommendation

I wonder if I could pool together the thoughts of the board member on which 1911 style pistol that is single stack, has adjustable sights, good trigger and is accurate would they recommend?

I'm looking for a multi purpose 9mm 1911 - Shoot BE with, IPSC, and generally have fun with.

The single stack is important to me as Im putting target grips on it for when I shoot BE.

STI Trojan would fit your requirements. Good internals, good frame/slide, only drawback blued finish is a little weak.

Ranger II in 9mm is also a good choice if you want a "commander" sized 1911.

It's a parkerizing finish, and I'm getting mine refinished in KG Gun Kote black as we speak.

x3 on the Trojan. I have one in .40 cal and it will outshoot me for years. Other than some mag issues the gun runs great right out of the box.

another vote for the STI Trojan! If you have a little more to spend, you could order an STI USPSA single-stack in 9mm.
