Winchester model 70

I just bought a winchester model 70 in 300 Win Mag the gun is in about %95 condition with a few little dings. A really nice rifle with a hard wood stock. I was wondering how much thease rifles are worth to sell/buy. I am not looking to sell this one but I want to build it up into a nice target rifle/long range hunting rifle. I would post pics but my camera is at the shop.... I am going to mount a Leuopld 4.5-14X50 VX-III scope with a varmint reticle on it. Just wondering how i did on the price. Thanks Andy

How much did you pay?

Is it the pushfeed model or CRF, it dramatically affects value.

Post 64 push feed. I'm not aware of any pre-64's with a blind box. I'll give yu fifty bucks.

I think its a push feed it does not have a claw extractor. I guess am hoping for a value is in the $600-700 range if not better.

Your more likely to see around $400 top dollar. The new models are going to be available soon, and it's the pre-64's that command the higher dollar values.

there's a 98% or better push feed M70 XTR 30-06 with floorplate at a local shop for $475
