Picked up a Mod.64 Cooey for peanuts, but as you can see, it needs a mag, and the conversion kit to change it from the factory nylon mags (which I'm told are damned near impossible to find), to the metal mags with which the later models came. Longs in Coburg used to stock the conversion kits, and I don't know if that's still the case. Any other good leads and an idea of cost? Thanks for the input!

Western Gun Parts in Edmonton.

But financially you are probably better off to sell this one off as parts and buy a different one. (unless this one has meaning to you).

Thanks for the input. I'd have to see the cost of the parts, and weigh that against what a new one would cost me. The stock is a nice chunk of walnut, which we both know is getting scarcer, and the metal and bore are very nice indeed. So, it seems my dilemma is whether I could get as nice a piece for as much, or less, than the cost of the parts needed to put this one to rights. I'll get the costing done, and weigh the pros and cons from there.
