Dear Guys,
Let me start by saying that Hungry is one awesome guy. He and I rebuilt my M305 tonight in under 2 hours. She now is a tack driving all USGI rifle.
It consists of all H&R parts with USGI NM sights front and rear. Everything is as tight as you can get without overextending your hammer swinging club/arm. Now I've been told to get my butt out to the range - he's jealous of my toy. Don't worry Barney, I'll be buying some lottery tickets as per your request.
It went slick as grease with the exception of the barrel lock screw - wasn't as bad as he thought it might be.
We set it all up and now she looks the part - no neutered flash suppressor either.
Dropped her back into the boyd's walnut stock and she's hot, hot hot! She sings like a fine tuning fork - pinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng!
He passed on his kung fu very well and imparted a new zen upon this humble grasshopper. If anybody in the Toronto area might need my help, I'd be happy to get you going.
I'll be getting the tools to do a rebuild within the next little while, so you other CGN's can get my help.
No pics right now, but I'll have em up within the next few days. I'm still on the road until Saturday.
So as I said before - I'll be more than happy to help out our fellow CGN's.
All the best, Carl
